Traveling with children can be both a joy and a hassle. Especially, as we enter the holiday season of 2017, we will start to see many more families traveling with children.
International travel as well as the Internet and mobile phones have blurred the boundary between work and leisure, between the business person and her job quote unquote as a mom, and of course the boundaries between countries. It is not uncommon these days for a family who may be working in India to come back to the United States just for the holidays, or for the reverse to occur, for a senior executive who is working in the United States to go back to India for the holidays to visit his family. International travel increases dramatically during the holiday season, and especially around New Year’s which is universally celebrated in many countries as opposed to specific holidays such as Christmas or Hanukkah which are celebrated in Judeo-Christian countries.
Our phone tracking app makes traveling with children and travel safety a bit more secure. How so? Well, all of the features that your employees or executives rely on can do double duty during the travel with the children during the holidays. Let’s take one example. Suppose that your traveler is returning from Pakistan to the United States. If our authorities at the central station for GlobalSecur become aware of a potential security problem either generically in the Pakistan or specifically at, say, for example, the airport, FoneTrac can push the alert to the traveler and her family. Or, take the example of someone getting sick. It is common knowledge, for example, that children are more prone to get sick than adults. So if the kids get sick in Pakistan, suddenly you have a travel emergency, and the family can reach out via phone tracking to access the global secure system and thereby get much-needed advice.
Another example would be study abroad students. Our FoneTrac app is very popular with study abroad programs, and, again with the smallness of the world today, many exchange students may return for the holidays. So now you have adults, which to be honest we might consider somewhat as children, who are in their late teens or early 20s who are to some extent the responsibility of your study abroad program. By having an iPhone travel safety app or android device that has FoneTrac travel safety app on it, your study abroad students will be able to use it during the holiday travel. They may not like to hear that you think of them as children who need some extra help vis-a-vis security, but the reality is that they may need more help than a fully functional adult in his or her 30s or 40s. In summary, traveling with children merely exacerbates the risks of travel in general when or if your employees or executives have the FoneTrac app this will make traveling with children safer and reduce your security vulnerabilities should something occur.
If you’re interested in a demo of FoneTrac whether before, during, of after holidays give us a call. If you have employees or executives that travel with children, it’s a “must have” travel safety app.
